Haloperidol 5 mg tablets are prescription-only antipsychotic medication used to treat schizophrenia, acute psychosis, mania, and tics associated with Tourette syndrome. It works by blocking dopamine receptors in the brain to stabilize mood and behavior. Common side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, constipation, dry mouth, and tremors.
